The lecture hall of the RWTH Aachen designed by Schmidt Hammer will, unfortunately, be realized without the green façade provided in the original plans.
Many Years of Experience Danish architectural firm Schmidt Hammer Lassen has many years of experience in planning and realizing school and university buildings. The last project the architects have been working on were college buildings in London, in Larvik in Norway and Kolding in Denmark. Currently, they are busy realizing the new RWTH Aachen lecture hall center. The new building erected on a narrow area at the Westbahnhof is scheduled to provide thirteen lecture halls with capacities of 100 through 900 seats, fourteen seminar rooms as well additional office areas spread across a floor area of 13,500 square meters to be completed until summer 2013.
